After practicing as a Registered Architect in Ireland and the UK for 6 years, she moved to Nova Scotia in 2009. There she gained her registration in Canada and worked as Project Architect and team coordinator on a variety of Educational and Healthcare projects throughout the Province. In 2014 she relocated to the Northwest Territories, where she became proficient with design in the Sub-Arctic & Arctic considering the challenges, technical requirements, and logistics of construction in remote locations where schedule is crucial to the success of any project.
Catherine has extensive experience as team coordinator, Design Architect and Project Lead on small and large multi-disciplinary teams spread over multiple provinces and territories. With this experience, she understands the importance of good lines of communication between the client, design and construction teams to deliver an integrated design which maintains schedule and budget.
Moving back to Nova Scotia in 2020, Catherine and her family settled in Shelburne, NS. Her love for the south shore and the respect she gives to the landscape and heritage is reflected in her design approach and development.
